Proud to be racing in the Monaco Historical Grand Prix this year

Asked to drive the car by the current owner, I will join the 2024 Historic Grand Prix grid alongside some of the most famous drivers in the world, driving some of the most valuable cars still racing today.

Built by Connaught Engineering in 1949, AHC 82 was the first ‘customer car’ supplied by the factory. The car with its slippery all-aluminum bodywork is now powered by a 2.5 litre - 125bhp, Lea-Francnis engine.

Racing for the first time at Monaco, I have hopes to join the long list of drivers to finish on the podium in this historic race car.

“I cannot believe I am going to be racing in the Monaco Historical Grand Prix this year in a 1948 Connaught L2. A big thank you to owner Paul Lovett for trusting me to pilot his beautiful car and a massive thank you to Avit Motorsport for all the prep work and who will be running it for the race”
